Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Peptide Units Research APP software and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Research and educational use only

The Service is provided strictly as an informational and record-keeping tool for laboratory research and educational purposes. The Service does not sell, supply, distribute, or facilitate the acquisition of any peptide, chemical, or other substance, and does not provide medical, pharmacological, or veterinary advice. All figures the Service produces are estimates for organizing your own research records. See our Research Use Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you represent that you are using it in connection with lawful research or educational activity and that you will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies.

3. No consumption; assumption of risk

You acknowledge that research compounds are not approved for human or animal consumption unless separately authorized by a competent regulatory authority. You agree that you will not treat any output of the Service as a directive to administer any substance, and that you assume all risk arising from your activities and any decisions you make.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Certain features require a paid membership. Pricing and billing terms are presented at the point of purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, fees are non-refundable. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees for the plan you select. You may cancel future renewals at any time; cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current term.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you enter (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by reverse-engineering it, scraping data, interfering with its operation, using it to violate any law, or using it to promote or facilitate the unlawful sale or consumption of any substance.

8. Disclaimers of warranty

THE SERVICE AND ALL INFORMATION IT PROVIDES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that any figure, calculation, or reference datum is accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Peptide Units Research APP, ITS OPERATORS, OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, HEALTH, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR ANY INFORMATION IT PROVIDES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peptide Units Research APP and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

11. Changes and termination

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
